This API enables you to fetch the DNS records (SPF, DKIM & Custom Envelope) for a domain added in your account. It is mandatory to add these records in your domain's advanced DNS settings to activate your domain.
What are SPF and DKIM? And why are these are important to have?
SPF (Sender Policy Framework) record ascertains ESPs that Email API is authorized to send emails using your domain.
DKIM (Domain Key Identified Mail) is a method to validate the authenticity of email messages. We send each email with a DKIM signature and ESPs use this signature to verify the authenticity of the email using the DKIM record entered in your domain's DNS settings.
