Subaccount: FAQs & Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot Subaccount issues on Netcore CPaaS dashboard.

Q. How does recurring credit allocation work in Subaccounts?

A. You can automatically allocate credits to your Subaccounts on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis using the Recurring Credits option.

To configure recurring credits:

  • Frequency: Daily, weekly, or monthly
  • Duration: Specify start and end dates
  • Amount: Set the amount to be credited per interval

Example:

  • Frequency: Daily
  • Duration: March 5–March 10, 2024
  • Amount: 500 credits

In this case, each Subaccount will receive 500 credits every day from March 5 to March 10. These credits are added to the remaining balance of each Subaccount.

Q. Will the remaining credit balance of a Subaccount carry forward to the next month?

A. Yes. Any unused credits in a Subaccount will carry forward to the next month.

Q. How does billing work for Subaccounts?

A. All billing is handled at the Master Account level. The Master Account is billed according to its selected plan. Invoices include the total number of emails sent by both the Master and its Subaccounts.

Q. How does domain control work for a Subaccount?

A. The Master Account can:

  • Share a white-labeled domain with Subaccounts, allowing them to send emails without configuring DNS records.
  • Control whether Subaccounts are allowed to add their own domains.

This provides centralized domain management and simplifies onboarding for Subaccounts.

Q. What happens when a Subaccount is disabled?

A. If the Master Account disables a Subaccount:

  • The Subaccount cannot send emails using the Netcore Email API.
  • However, the Subaccount can still access analytics data.

Q. How many Subaccounts can I create?

A. The Master Account can create up to 15 Subaccounts, each with a unique email address.

If you need to create more than 15 Subaccounts, contact the Netcore Email API Customer Support team for assistance.

Q. Can I add multiple users using the same email address?

You can create multiple Subaccounts using the same email address only if it is the same address used for the Master Account.

Otherwise, each Subaccount must have a unique email address. Reusing an email address that is already associated with another Subaccount is not allowed.
